Welcome!  My name is Marielise Jacobs, MOT, OTR/L.  I am a graduate of Adventist University of Health Sciences at Florida Hospital.  I am also a Red Cross certified Water Safety Instructor, Aquatic Therapy and Rehab Institute certified, and a wife and mother of two.  I have a love for children and have worked with them in various educational settings for over 15 years. Currently, I am working as a school-based Occupational Therapist for Brevard Public Schools. I am passionate about helping kids with special needs and their families to not just survive, but thrive! This passion inspired me to begin Abound Therapy in Summer 2015. My professional interests include use of nature-based activities and the outdoors as a modality in occupational therapy treatment. When I'm not working you can find me spending time with family and friends and/or in the water and enjoying the outdoors.

My name is Shannon Breakey and I am also currently pursuing a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy at Florida Hospital's Adventist University of Health Sciences. Currently, I work as a lifeguard/swim instructor at the YMCA. My entire life, my passions have been outdoor sports and working with children. I was able to work with kids outdoors for the past 7 years at summer camps. This experience gave me the opportunity to work with children in various settings and roles such as on a challenge course, rock climbing, teaching horse-back riding lessons, teaching swim lessons, working on the lakefront, and being a girl's counselor. These experiences have led me to choose OT as my future career and my dream is to become a Pediatric OT and continue to find ways to incorporate therapy into outdoor activities.

My name is Brynne Coupland. I am currently pursuing a Masters in Occupational Therapy at Adventist University of Health Sciences. I hope to be a pediatric OT. My favorite people to work with are children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. I have thoroughly enjoyed providing care for many different children with ASD over the last 10 years of my life. I love OT because it allows me to find fun, creative, and meaningful ways to improve the lives of children in need. I can't wait to meet you all at Camp Windspark!

Hi! My name is Meghann Ehling, MS, OTR/L, ATRIC.  I am an Occupational Therapist that graduated from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  I am also a certified Lifeguard and Aquatic Therapy and Rehab Institute certified.  I currently work in an outpatient clinic and school settings with children ages 2-11.  I previously worked at an emotional support school with kids ages 7-14 and as an Aquatic Specialist at a home and school for individuals of all ages with a variety of special needs.  I have over 15 years of experience working with children and adults with varying exceptionalities in educational, residential and/or aquatic environments.  I truly enjoy helping people live life to their fullest, be independent and accomplish anything they put their mind to; I especially enjoy when water can be used as a modality for this accomplishment.  When not working you can find me on a beach, scuba diving, spending time with family/friends, or exploring my new home in Florida.
